IAWE 2010 Registration

Registration Fees

 

 

The optional Conference Dinner will be a 10 course Chinese Banquet in a restaurant in the city's historic Chinatown district on the second evening of the conference. Attendees will be transported to the restaurant from the conference venue by sightseeing trolley cars.  Following the banquet dinner, attendees will again board the trolleys for an approximate     1.5 hour tour of the city, which is scheduled to include the historic Gastown District, downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park (one of the largest urban parks in North America), and picturesque English Bay. Following the tour, guests will be dropped off at the conference hotel and venue site.

 

An on-site registration desk will be open beginning the first day of the conference.

 

Please note that all fees must be paid in Canadian dollars.  Approximate US dollar equivalents are given for information only. US dollar figures are based on exchange rates from February 6, 2010. Attendees can verify their approximate costs in their own currency by visiting an official currency exchange website, such as www.oanda.com, the day they make their registration payment.

**Please note that in accordance with IAWE policy, all individuals presenting a paper at the conference must be current members of the Association. Individuals interested in attending the conference, but who are not presenting a paper, are not required to be members, but are welcome to join.

 

***Students are asked to provide a copy of their student identification card confirming their current student status.

 

 

Information on Registration and Cancellation

All fees must be paid in Canadian dollars using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).  Online payment can be made using a secure registration form with Simon Fraser University. For questions regarding the online payment process, please contact the Registration Chair.

 

Your registration and payment will be confirmed by an automatic email.  Please keep this confirmation as your registration receipt.

 

For cancellations before June 25, 2010 there will be a $30 administration fee subtracted from refunded registration payments.  A request in writing must be received by the Registration Chair prior to June 25, 2010.  For cancellation requests received after June 25, 2010 there will be no refund of registration fees.

 

 

Information on Letters of Invitation

A Letter of Invitation may be obtained in order to assist delegates with Canadian Visa applications.   If you require a Letter of Invitation, please contact the IAWE 2010 Registration Chair at ariggs@sfu.ca or ++1-778-782-6769. Visa applicants should please be mindful of registration deadlines and refund policies, as well as estimated timelines for the processing of visa applications.

 

 

Special Requirements
